As the world transitions to a lower carbon energy future, Australia has a central role to play in providing cleaner energy across the entire supply chain - from exploration, extraction, production and transport right through to decommissioning.
New innovations from the clean technology industry have the potential to lead to gains in efficiency, productivity and sustainability within the energy resources sector.
NERA (National Energy Resources Australia) is looking to support improvements in efficiency and competitiveness within the sector by funding the country’s best clean technology projects.
NERA will provide up to $3 million in funding to projects that utilise proven technology and are ready to roll out to the energy resources sector.
Projects must provide economic and environmental benefits to the customer. This could include projects around renewable energy, hybrid energy, smart grid, energy storage, energy efficiency, water treatment, waste management, air quality and resource efficiency.
Successful projects will be announced later this year.
For more information read the NERA Clean Technology EOI Brochure and Guidelines.
The NERA Clean Technology EOI Template is also available.
A number of briefing sessions are being held across Australia to give potential applicants advice and insights on the EOI process.
Submissions close 31 August 2017.
