Stakeholder and Government Relations Manager
About the position
An opportunity exists for a Stakeholder and Government Relations Manager to work with Queensland and New South Wales (NSW) government agencies and stakeholders on collaborative and innovative energy resources initiatives. Working independently, this position is based in Brisbane and will ensure the energy resources sector and NERA’s role with Queensland and the NSW state government sectors is represented.
The role will provide guidance to the NERA CEO and Board on Queensland and NSW government policy positions and identify linkages to federal policy and commonwealth and state regulation. The role is tasked with providing expert advice and action to NERA on Queensland and NSW government and stakeholder engagement activities including contributing to planning and implementation of projects and initiatives. The role will also take a national approach to NERA’s regulatory reform program.
Ideal candidates will already have established contacts and networks in the energy resources sector in Queensland and NSW and will demonstrate recent experience in the preparation of executive and high-level briefings and related documents from recent policy development work.
Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience.
