CRC-P insights: the application process explained

To help businesses understand the eligibility criteria, navigate the application process and develop a potentially successful application for this highly competitive program, NERA is delighted to host this interactive webinar with guest presenter Martin Dent, Manager of CRC Projects for the Australian Government’s Department of Industry, Science, Energy and Resources.

Cooperative Research Centre Projects (CRC-Ps) are an excellent way for Australian businesses and researchers to collaborate on initiatives that progress new ideas toward full commercialisation. The CRC-P program provides successful applicants with the opportunity to access matched funding grants of between $100,000 and $3 million for up to three years to help support their collaborative industry-led project that develops a product, service or process that will solve problems for industry and deliver real outcomes; benefits small to medium enterprises (SMEs); and includes education and training activities.

During the webinar, Martin will outline how the CRC-P program works and discuss eligibility criteria and requirements for submissions. By the end of the webinar, participants will have a greater understanding of whether they have a prospective project that is worth considering for submission, as well as how they and their industry and research partners can best position it.

Facilitated by NERA GM Dr Francis Norman, this one-hour webinar will feature:

  • Insights into the CRC-P selection process
  • Information on how to write and coordinate a successful application
  • Dos and Don’ts when submitting an application
  • Live Q&A
