Australian businesses with suitable low emissions technology that support our net-zero future will submit an EOI using the prescribed online form. The form has mandatory fields and word limits, so please ensure your responses are clear and concise.
The EOI period closes at 10pm on 5 February 2023.
Our assessment panel will review all EOIs and select eight finalists. Both successful and unsuccessful applicants will be notified by email.
Finalists will be invited to a half-day virtual workshop on 1 March 2023 to refine their pitch and value proposition.
Each finalist will deliver a three-minute pitch about their technology in person to a judging panel of industry experts at a live Pitch Event on 15 March 2023 at the AOG Energy 2023 Industry Supply Forum.
Judges will select three winners. There will also be a People’s Choice Award, which will be voted on by the audience.
All eight finalists will be invited to showcase their technology at a pod on 16 March, within the NERA Technology Discovery Centre at AOG Energy 2023. This will provide the finalists with the ability to promote their technology to over 3,000 of the top energy executives in Australia.
Through partnership with Austrade, the three winning companies will receive a complementary place in Austrade’s Clean Energy Mission in Singapore. Taking place in mid-2023, the Mission will promote Australia's expertise and capacity in new technologies to support Singapore and Australia's transition to net-zero emissions.
NERA will subsidise travel for each company to participate in the Mission. This stipend is intended to cover flights and accommodation associated with the tour (value AUD$5,000).
