The annual competition highlights some of the best technologies that Australia has to offer, this year bringing two additional categories to the competition: Circular Economy and Global Social Impact.
We are excited to again support the Energy Resources Award, which will be awarded to an innovative Australian tech pioneer with the potential to enhance the competitiveness and efficiency of Australia's energy resources industry.
Last year’s competition saw Darwin-based Universal Site Monitoring receive the Energy Resources Award for their customisable personal safety monitoring device that combines real-time communication, early gas detection and resilient location sensing into one hand-held device. Last year also awarded RedEye Apps – a member of NERA’s innovation ecosystem – with the Mining Technologies Award for their engineering data management platform for enterprise asset owners.
The Australian Technologies Competition aligns with NERA’s focus to maximise value to the Australian economy by having an energy resources industry that is globally competitive, sustainable, innovative and diverse. NERA supports and celebrates this industry-wide competition for the benefit of Australia.
