Invitation to participate in new Process Automation Standards Group

16 July 2017

Could your organisation benefit from access to advanced insights into developing global process automation standards?

Does your organisation need the best possible information to guide decision-making in replacing ageing automation systems?

If so, then join the Process Automation Standards Group, established by NERA to work on behalf of Australian operators to share information on the development of global process automation standards, such as ISA 95 and Open Process Automation (OPA).

Having early access to information about changes in global process automation standards is key to unlocking significant future value for the Australian energy resources sector. To pursue this goal, NERA is offering you an opportunity to become part of a new group, partnering with other local and international operators and standards organisations.

This group provides members with a collaboration platform, and ensures they are well placed to rapidly adopt new technologies in response to the opportunities presented by changes in global process automation standards.

Participants in the group will also have access to a lab with other process control, Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) and Manufacturing Execution System (MES) users to develop and test proposed standards before deciding how best to deploy them onto their plant.

This group will be of interest to automation leaders and professionals in energy resource companies, system integrators, design engineering businesses, the research community and all other members of the process automation value chain.

If you or your organisation would like to join a team of passionate experts, local and international operators and technologists, contact NERA via contact@nera.org.au for more information.
