Global Innovation Linkages programme to boost global collaboration

A new Australian Government funding programme has been announced to help industry and researchers collaborate with targeted global partners on leading-edge research, development and commercialisation project, focusing on projects that respond to industry challenges.

The Global Innovation Linkages programme will provide $18 million over five years to help businesses collaborate to develop high quality products, services or processes that respond to strategically important industry challenges for Australia and priority sectors, including energy resources.

The programme will help existing businesses to grow and create jobs by allowing Australian businesses to better collaborate with businesses overseas.

Applications close 20 October 2016.
