15 December 2021

At a recent end-of-year event, NERA announced the SMEs who successfully secured pilots with Chevron Australia as part of the GeneratER Program. WA-based Elk Fish Robotics and Cumulus Projects will collaborate to design a drone that will be able to fly into hazardous areas to investigate abnormal situations through onboard sensors, and Compliance Monitoring will design an automated, remotely monitored sensing and data tracking solution for use on Barrow Island.

NERA also launched Round Two of the GeneratER Program, which offers Western Australia's SMEs the opportunity to partner with Shell Australia by identifying solutions to reduce and recycle waste.
