Supervisory Board Expression of Interest

Centre of Decomissioning Australia (CODA)

NERA, in conjunction with industry, established the Centre of Decommissioning Australia (CODA) in March 2021 to drive a collaborative and transformational approach to decommissioning in Australia. CODA represents a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to capture multi-generational benefits for Australia from decommissioning of our offshore oil and gas infrastructure.

We are now seeking Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from passionate and qualified representatives to participate on the CODA Supervisory Board, which is being established to support the development of CODA’s strategic objectives and help define the structure for delivery of the work program.

The Supervisory Board is responsible for:

  • Overall governance of the entity;
  • Developing the CODA strategy and monitoring its execution;
  • Setting the objectives and charter; and
  • Approves Executive Committee membership.

The CODA Supervisory Board reports to NERA via the Independent Chair and is comprised of:

  • Independent Chair
  • NERA
  • 2 x Senior Industry Representatives (1 Operator Representative & 1 Supply Chain Representative, nominated via EOI)
  • 2 x Independent Advisers (nominated via EOI)
